In-District Transfer Request                      

Hello! If you want your student to attend an elementary school in the Menomonie District that is outside your neighborhood boundary, you can apply for an In-District Transfer. Simply fill out the online form to submit your request. Please note that all transfers are subject to approval and may be denied.
If your student's In-District Transfer was approved last year, you do not need to reapply unless you want to request a different school.

The district will start reviewing requests for In-District Transfers for the 2025-2026 school year in April 2025.
By submitting this request, you are committing to provide transportation for your child(ren) throughout the entire school year. Should you be unable to continue this transportation, your child(ren) will have to return to their designated home school.

If your In-District Transfer request was approved in the previous school year, it will remain valid. There is no need to reapply each year, as elementary school principals review approvals for In-District Transfer requests on an annual basis.

Please note: If class sizes exceed the limit in board policy 343.1, your child(ren) may need to return to their boundary area school.
