Dear SDMA Families and Staff,

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone in the School District of the Menomonie Area!  Thanksgiving break in the SDMA begins tonight and classes will resume on Monday, December 2.

As we enter the holiday season, please note the following two items:

• Angel Fund- the campaign for providing meal assistance for students in the SDMA is open. When making plans for holiday giving, please consider supporting the SDMA Nutrition Angel Fund campaign.
• Community Holiday Resources- there are many wonderful resources available in the community for those who may need help during the holidays. The SDMA Student Services Department has done a great job posting an inventory of these local resources on the SDMA Community Connections webpage.

For all hunters, good luck, have fun, and please be especially safe during the 2024 deer hunt. Students, please be sure at all times to treat every firearm like it is loaded, and be 100% sure of your target and beyond before putting your finger near the trigger. Once you take the shot, there is no taking it back.
