Menomonie High School Distinguished Alumni Award:
The Menomonie High School Distinguished Alumni award began in 2010. The Award was initiated to honor graduates from MHS who have attained success in their chosen profession, been actively influential in their community, had outstanding achievements, or made significant contributions to society following graduation from high school. The award is also designed to recognize graduates of Menomonie High School as positive role models for currently enrolled students. The award recognizes alumni that are living the mission of “lifelong learners, caring individuals and responsible citizens.” Nominations are sent to any high school administrator. The three high school principals make the selection and award the honor annually at graduation. All applications for the current school year are due by January 1st. Applicants will be reviewed after January 1st and the appropriate parties will be notified once a decision has been made. There are currently seven Distinguished Alumni.
